English term or phrase: By going off the point
Bonjour,

Le texte continue avec ***By going off the point****, the rest of us may become open to aspects of lige that are at risk of being neglected by the daily routines.

Je comprends le sens, mais je n'arrive pas à rendre l'expression by going off the point en français...
Quelques suggestions ?

Merci!

neutral  emiledgar: This is, of course, the correct translation of the term, but I think it's being used figuratively here and needs a different translation to work in French in this context.
