Context: "Diese haben die Wirkung von Desorptionskeimen" The "Diese" referred to here are "ein Geflechtskörper" and "Borsten".

"...daß das Medium ... eine Kammer mit Keimen (Desorptionskörpern) durchfliesst".
The "Keimen" are used to promote degasification.

This comes from a patent so I don't think I can provide any further information but hope someone is familiar with this usage :-)

These "Geflechtskörper" and "Borsten" are not the "Keime" itself but are boosting the formation of bubble nuclei (Blasenkeime) similar to a grain of rice in a glas of beer;
