Explanation:
Vzhledem k tomu, že se jedná o službu hojně využívanou společností Apple mrknul jsem se přímo do oficiálních manuálů k iPadu a iPhonu a oni používají výraz "oznámení" - viz webové reference. Finta toho PUSH je v tom, že zpráva (oznámení) se zobrazí i pokud daná aplikace neběží. Jak to zohlednit elegantně v překladu mě nenapadá, ale evidentně to neřeší ani Apple.

agree  Karel Tatransky: Taky možná varianta, to „upozornění“ jsem zvolil proto, že „oznámení“ je právě u zmiňovaného Applu překlad slova „notification“, nikoli „alert“

  -> ano napadlo mne, že chcete odlišit "alert" a "notification", nicméně ve výsledku se podle mne jedná o to samé, takže je možné držet se zavedené terminologie.
