French term or phrase: rachat
At a total loss for this one. I am translating a transcript from French into English, that was translated from Lebanese into French, for a diploma in Nursing from a Lebanese educational institution.

On the transcript, below the course list and respective grades, there is an entry for Rachat (which has no value/mark beside it), and then the total of all grades combined.

No idea.

Explanation:
Hello,

Could "rachat" be referring to "credit recovery" in the event of a failed course. Usually the mark/grade for the course is Pass or Fail, and won't affect the overall Grade Point Average (GPA).

rachat = redemption

I hope this helps.
