'Uma longa caminhada é tanto mais agradável e produtiva quanto melhor é a companhia.'

Na verdade queria ajuda para a frase toda, pois 'empaquei' nela.

Este companhia se refere a acompanhamento, e não à empresa. Pensei em usar 'company', mas não queria deixar ambíguo, entre companhia de empresa e companhia de acompanhamento.
