English translation: Outsourced Testing Contract

Japanese to English translations [PRO]
Law/Patents - Law: Contract(s) / medical instruments firm research contract
Japanese term or phrase: 試験委託契約書
This is the title of the contract. I was just going to translate it as "Research Contract," based on the content of the document and what info I have been able to find. Is this OK, or is there a formal title? Thanks.

English translation:Outsourced Testing Contract
Explanation:
In my opinion, 試験 is more about testing or trial; 大辞泉 also has it as
"1 ある物事の性質や性能などをためしてみること。また、検査すること。
2 入学・入社・登用などの採否を決めるため、問題に答えさせたり実技をさせたりして、学力・知識・能力などを判断・評価すること。考試。考査。"

Besides, an example of 試験委託基本契約書 that I found on the web does mention the contractor as 研究所, but then what contractor is supposed to perfom is called 試験 throughout the enitre document - the terms that are used in the context 試験内容、試験費用、試験業務、試験機器、試験期間.

I don't know how close is the contents of the contract you translate to the one that I found, but I believe that, although 試験 does include a research, there is still a considerable difference between 試験 and 研究: 研究 means research and this term includes those done from scratch, while 試験 means testing something that already exists.

Explanation:
It would depend on what is in the contract but I would go with "Research Sponsorship Agreement".
