agree  Suzan Hamer: The asker might also have a problem with "oozes": gives off, emits, radiates, exudes elegant calm (I prefer calm to calmness). Or perhaps, to emphasize the contrast to the hurry and scurry of an airport, "elegant peace". No, you're right. Calm.
