English term or phrase: cell commitment
trovo in diverse parti del testo espressioni come "cell commitment" e "cell differentiation". Mentre per il secondo ho trovato differenziamento cellulare, non trovo una traduzione idonea per cell commitment. In molti testi/siti ho visto che viene lasciato in inglese ma quale può essere, volendo, una traduzione?
Esempio di una frase in cui lo trovo:
"Human adult stem cells lack the ability to fully recapitulate cardiogenesis or neurogenesis, but rather progress along a lineage commitment ending into a cardiac- or neuronal-like cell."
