Term that I am having difficulty translating: Salero

Context: El control de mineralización debe ser hecho periódicamente a través de chequeos semanales a cada sector de pastoreo y a los dormideros para verificar la disponibilidad en los salero.
I know that salero can mean both "salt-shaker" and "shower-head." However, is there a proper agricultural term in English for "salero," or is it best to just translate it as "container/receptable for salt"?
