Let's get down to business. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 14 hrs (2012-02-08 08:03:44 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- To me "let's get to the point" is good, but suggests a finalization of some sort, getting to a conclusion. "let's get down to business" is (in my opinion) better because it means moving the discussion from meaningless chitchat to the relevant topic, but not necessarily closing the discussion. |
