Spanish term or phrase: monito (monito Guzmán)
Hi, I'm translating a Spanish sticker album to UK English and have to translate the character of "monito Guzmán". Unfortunately, given that it is a sticker album, I don't have an image to help me. Does anyone have any good ideas of how to translate "monito" in this context?

"Este es Rollo, el Gnomo propietario del Hotel Plaza.
Es un verdadero tacaño: para ahorrar, sólo nos ha contratado a mí y al **monito Guzmán**"

"Guzmán es el **monito** que me ayuda en el trabajo.
¡Un factótum casi perfecto!"

Thanks for any ideas!

little monkey
Explanation:
No way to be certain, but I'm guessing Guzmán is a little monkey

For some reason I have a very vivid picture in my mind of a monkey wearing a bellboy's outfit...

Yes, in the end I think it was just a little monkey and I was overcomplicating matters. Thanks very much!

Notes to answerer
Asker: Hi Simon, thanks. Yes, that's a familiar image to me now you mention it. Here in Mexico they use "monito" for all sorts of figures of any size, which is why I wondered if there was some general word in English that's not coming to mind, but you're probably right that it's just a little monkey.
