No estoy segura de interpretar bien esta oracion:
"It is probably due to the fact that the xxx still represented good value and was still very popular with those on a budget. That is until very recently, as the range of features it offered were never too FAR OFF the next model in line for a more palatable price".
¿Significa algo asi como: esta situación cambió recientemente, ya que la funciones que ofrecía esta cámara nunca eran tan ditintas de la que ofrecían los modelos posteriores de la misma línea y estaba y la xxx tenía un precio más razonable"

Yo creo que si fuera asi diria FAR OF y no FAR OFF pero no lo interpreto de otra manera
