Marketing - Ships, Sailing, Maritime / Yacht advertising copy
French term or phrase: tranchantes
Hmm, I'm writing advertising copy again! Any suggestions? This is one out of a list of a dozen or so such proclamations (don't worry, Ive managed the rest).

incisive
Explanation:
Quite pleased with myself. I like this one, inspired by 'decisive' in the sound and Miranda's 'cutting'.

Nobody else might like it... but I do! 8-)))

Finer/Sharper

Explanation:
Finer, or sharper? Are you looking for something a bit jazzier with it being copy?

Asker: Sharper will do nicely. Thanks, Alexandra. The tone on the whole is not too OTT.

Faster = more decisive, rather than dillydallying about with your cock linnet.

tranchante
cutting edge

Explanation:
I would be tempted to rephrase to hype it up a little, since it is advertising, isn't it?

making manoeuvres faster and keeping you on the cutting edge!

It keeps the idea of cutting the finishing line, and the technology required to achieve this.
Just a thought.

Otherwise, it really is to do with precision.

Asker: There's certainly some heroic hype in this piece, but I feel that just here they want to be serious for a second. (But I'm sure I'll be able to wok in a "cutting edge" bfore I finish!)
