chest opening Explanation: I couldn't find a technical term for it, but this is what it is! "s.m. Peitilho da camisa, a parte da camisa que assenta sobre o peito." Reference: http://www.dicio.com.br/peitilho/ |

no peitilho at the neck Explanation: Front top opening of the shirt. Usually simply referred to as the neck of the shirt. The phrases used would be "three buttons at the neck" or "three front buttons." |

placket Explanation: If this is a normal 3-button polo shirt, with an opening that actually opens (as is normal), then this is a placket, or a 3-button placket. I did clothing tech. at college and then worked in a knitwear factory, so I'm fairly sure here. The only problem would be if (as does happen) the placket is a 'false placket' and doesn't open - i.e. the buttons are decorative only. In this case I would say "with a decorative 3-button placket". Hope this helps!!!! -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2 hrs (2011-12-02 13:05:18 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Also check out the Lands End clothing website. Here is the page for a mens polo, and they state that it has a "3-button placket" www.landsend.co.uk/pp/Long-sleeve-Pima-Polo-Shirt~1167_59.h... Example sentence(s):
