res judicata Explanation: Res judicata or res iudicata (RJ), also known as claim preclusion, is the Latin term for "a matter [already] judged" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Res_judicata Giudicato o cosa giudicata è il provvedimento giurisdizionale divenuto ormai incontrovertibile, ossia non più assoggettabile ai mezzi di impugnazione ordinari, o perché siano già decorsi i termini per impugnare o perché siano già stati esperiti tutti i mezzi d'impugnazione previsti.
