Spanish term or phrase: Período actualizable
I am translating a Spanish (Spain) Social Security Pension report and at the very top of a graph that shows calculable earnings for an individual the heading reads:

"Período actualizable"

My attempt:
"Actualization period"

There are two other headings within the chart that state:

"Indice Actualización" and Base Actualizada"

What I am unsure of is the actual meaning given to "Actualización, Actualizada, Actualizable"

Thank you!

Notes to answerer
Asker: Would "renewable" also apply to "Indice Actualizacion" and "Base actualizada?"

Reference: "actualizar" in Social Security

Reference information:
I think the sense of "actualizar" here is that of updating the value of the "base" in a person's contribution record. The "base" is a notional baseline figure used to calculate one's benefit (ultimately pension) entitlement; it is not what you actually contribute each month, but it is linked to it by a formula. As far as I can make out, the point is that the "base" is periodically revised, and this is applied retrospectively to one's past contribution record, so the latter is updated in order to arrive at one's current entitlement. Or something like that. At any rate, the idea is definitely "update".

I found this is an EU pensions case from Spain; I think it's relevant:

http://eur-lex.europa.eu/LexUriServ/LexUriServ.do?uri=CELEX:...

The English version is as follows:

"5 When those conditions are met, the amount of the pension is calculated by reference to the average of the worker' s contribution bases over the 84 months immediately preceding the date on which his invalidity commenced. If, however, there were times during that period when the worker was under no obligation to pay contributions, the calculation is made as if he had then paid contributions on the minimum basis. In addition, the contribution bases for the first 60 months of the period (both real and notional) are indexed by reference to the movement of the official consumer price index during each of those months until the end of the period to be updated (Article 3(1) and (4) of the Law of 31 July 1985)."

So the "periodo actualizable" is the period to which this "updating" process can be applied. The text quoted states that the "updating" is linked to the RPI.
