Asker: A minha dúvida, fruto provavelmente de algum cansaço, não estava em "inept" (palavra que sei como traduzir e da qual conheço vários sinónimos, uns mais comuns do que outros...), mas na expressão "of late" que, numa leitura precipitada, me pareceu mais idiomática do que aquilo que ela realmente é. Obrigada pela sua ajuda sempre esclarecida e esclarecedora!
