Bus/Financial - Business/Commerce (general) / Business travel
French term or phrase: comptes
The context is an IT localisation file about new trends in business travel. The word occurs in a couple of lists without further context.
"Accounts" seems inappropriate in both of them.
e.g.
"Marché des Comptes Nationaux"
"Marché des Grands Comptes"

account
Explanation:
Is used in this sort of context in lots of fields, espeically things like advertising, for example, where you talk about e.g. 'major accounts' and 'account managers'

It all depends what your context is, and who is talking about what to whom.

key account, national account

Explanation:
I beg to differ about the use of "account". "Key account" especially is fairly commonly used in my experience.

"Global account managers and national account managers may work together in a hierarchical or matrix structure. The trend is to move responsibility for the major key accounts to the global level"
