French translation: enseignement à domicile

English term or phrase: Home Schooling
"The term 'home schooling' basically refers to the process in which one or more children of not more than 2 families are instructed by parents or legal guardians..."

I've seen "instruction à la maison" as well as "école à domicile" cited. Anyone out there have a recommendation? And what distinction should be made – if any – between the terms "home school" and "home schooling" in your opinion?

Merci, d'avance.
