Italian to English translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Construction / Civil Engineering / specification for building construction
Italian term or phrase: falsi gradini
Translating literally seems dangerous here:

Fornitura e posa in opera di casseri in tavole di legno per getti di calcestruzzo, compreso disarmo, sfrido, chioderia e distanziali, valutati per la superficie di contatto della struttura: per solette di rampe scale e pianerottoli (compresi falsi gradini), balconi, pensiline, cornicioni ecc.

Does anyone know the exact term?

Thanks.

Notes to answerer
Asker: Hello Dr. What about simply "stair treads"? Seems more logical to me.

Peer comments on this answer (and responses from the answerer)
agree  Vincent Lemma: keep the "false" and could ditch the "stairs".

agree  Maureen Young: Taking out my contribution because I think i had it backwards. Falsi gradini are added afterwards to the stair slab.
