this is about a person who uses too many words to explain something. She has "poco poder de síntesis". So whatever she explains is confusing.

I think this is a natural way to say it. "Getting to the point" is not a literal translation of "síntesis", but I think it amounts to the same thing; a synthesis is where you draw the disparate strands of your argument together and sum up what you are really trying to say: in other words, get to the point.
