As provas serao realizadas nas cidades x e y na data provavel de...

I have never encountered this phrase before. Should it be ''expected date'', ''unconfirmed date''? Does ''provavel'' even need to be translated?

Thanks!

agree  Annie Sapucaia: I would choose foreseeable over tentative, because tentative sounds more uncertain than "provavel." You could even say the likely date of January 1st, for example.

You could also say 'tentatively schedule for . . ..' I like that better than 'tentative date', which doesn't fit the context.
