O adjetivo "naïve", aplicado tanto a ratos quanto a humanos, tem rendido as traduções mais exdrúxulas em português (tenho conhecimento de que uma grande empresa usaria "ratos virgens"), mas trata-se, basicamente, de o modelo animal ou o sujeito do estudo nunca ter sido exposto a determinada substância.
