Liebe Slowakischübersetzer,

ich habe hier folgendes Problem:

Unsere slowakischen Kollegen haben "Slowakisch" (als Bezeichnung der slowakischen Sprache in einer Bedienungsanleitung - Sprachreiter oben rechts) als "Slovenčina" übersetzt.

Nun meinte die Kundin, es müsse aber "Slovensky" heißen.

Laut meinen Recherchen ist die von uns verwendete Bezeichnung ("Slovenčina") absolut korrekt, denn es müsste bei "Slovensky" eigentlich "Slovenský Jazy" heißen, weil "slovensky" eigentlich ein Adjektiv ist.

Ich habe nun folgende Fragen:

1. Welche Form ist besser/korrekter?
2. Welche Bezeichnung ist in Handbüchern (isoliert oben rechts als so genannter Reiter) allgemein üblich?

Beide Bezeichnungen können für korrekte gehalten werden. Es hängt natürlich auch davon ab, was in dem Quellentext vorliegt. Wichtig wäre auch, wie die Bezeichnungen der anderen Sprachen übersetzt sind: ob ein Adjektiv (slowakisch = slovenský, z.B. slovenský jazyk), oder ein Adverbium (auf slowakisch = po slovensky), oder ein Nomen (Slowakisch = slovenčina) ausgewählt wurde, damit die Einheitlichkeit der ganzen Bedienungsanleitung erhalten wäre.
