Bonjour
J'ai beaucoup de mal à rendre cette phrase en français. Voici le contexte : une fillette de dix ans tente d'expliquer à son copain (qui a le béguin pour elle) qu'elle ne veut pas sortir avec lui pour préserver leur amitié. Mais elle ne lui dit pas directement. Elle essaie de lui faire comprendre en lui parlant de sa tante et de son meilleur ami (dont en fait la tante est amoureuse et réciproquement). Le petit garçon ne comprend pas bien, et pour cause. Voici l'extrait.
garçon : I don't understand. Does she love him or not ?
fillette : Well, she loves him like forever.
g : So, yes?
f : She loves him but she doesn't think of him that way. He 's just like a friend. Do you get it.
g : Not really.
f : She just doesn't think of him that way. They're too good of friends.

C'est ce "She doesn't think of him that way" qui me pose problème. Je ne peux pas le traduire par "Elle l'aime mais elle n'est pas amoureuse de lui" qui est trop évident par rapport au fait que le garçon ne comprenne pas bien. D''avance merci pour vos idées !
