French to English translations [PRO]
Bus/Financial - Computers: Software
French term or phrase: au plus détaillé
I am translating the instructions for a software relating to the management of property/leases. Under the heading "Saisie d’un lot dans l’étage" reference is made to internal and external car parks, under which a figure has to be entered for the following in the corresponding fields: "nombre d’emplacements correspondant au lot (En général 1 au plus détaillé)".

The use of "au plus détaillé" seems a little odd to me here, but I suspect that the text in brackets has the meaning of "Generally from 1 upwards", but I'm not sure. If anyone can shed some light on the use of this phrase here, I'd be grateful.

Explanation:
Détailer can also mean "to sell/retail/market" so I think here they are trying to say that in most cases of sale or retail, the number to be entered here is 1.

Notes to answerer
Asker: Thank you for your answer, but I do not think that it is right because "generally" and "in most cases" would be more or less tautological. Also there is no suggestion that there is any connection with retail or selling - it is merely the number of parking spaces.
