I wouldn't translate it as 'alojamento' as that includes accommodation expenses too.

Dear Nina - The letter I am translating is about reimbursement of costs employees that were sent out to work in another country are entitled to. In this particular case is referred to the situation where they live alone or share housing with other people. There is a chapter exclusively about housing. I think this one might be about "economia doméstica"- for example costs for water, electricity etc - all costs envolved with a house except the price for rent.
