U osnovi bi se grit mogao prevesti tako, a ukoliko se radi o bojama pretpostavljam da bi to bila neka boja šljunka (pijeska) - svijetlo-žućkasto-smeđa boja.

Ne znam kako i da li se to uklapa ali u nedostatku konteksta ja bih to tako prevela, možda se radi o zrnastoj strukturi boje.
