По-моему, extramural звучит более академично, но distance learning лучше отражает суть вашего контекста.

То есть в этом смыле, обчение проводится вне колледжа для определенных целей - например, с целью обучения за рубежом, не потому, что ученик не может присутствовать в классе по каким-то причинам (например, работа).
