English to Italian translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Engineering: Industrial
English term or phrase: heat stick
I have also seen it as a single word - heatstick -
From what I understand it is litterally just that: a stick/rod like heating element that is submerged in a liquid to bring it to a boil. But not for the simple cup of coffee. this is on the industrial scale. In this particular case they are advertising the use of diamonds or diamond dust in the production of these "sticks".

any idea what they could possibly be called in Italian.

I spoke to the Italian representative of the diamond company that sells their products for use in the production of these sticks and he, himself has no ideal what they are in Italian.

Thanks in advance for all your help
