("the comedy of the ending" perhaps if you want to be more formal) 'arrojar' is certainly used very frequently in Mexico to mean 'results in', 'entails', 'leads to...' etc. The phrasal verb 'throws up' (in terms of an outcome/result) is probably closest to the meaning you are familiar with. |
