This is used in a document regarding dissection of monkeys for medical research purposes. The full context is: "动物尸体和多余组织脏器用一次性尸袋包裹后转移至统一回收处，并做好登记。" If the translation is "uniform recycling location", what does that mean? More specifically, what does "uniform" mean in this case?

in Chinese, 统一 means you have to dispose ALL of the animal bodies and residual tissues, etc. at the recycling area.

My suggestion is not to use that word in your translation

Explanation:
统一 has many different translations, and I use uniform, consolidated, and integrated depending on the situation. You could use integrated in this case, although I agree that leaving the word out entirely is acceptable. A disposal area is assumed to be integrated unless specified otherwise.
