nella frase sopra non capisco cosa siano i 'room heaters' se 'stoves' sono le stufe...si tratta di caloriferi da stanza? Radiatori?

E' da due anni che traduco manuali tecnici di stufe a combustibile solido e per farmi una cultura sul tema ho letto centinaia di pagine sul tema. Generalmente, per indicare l'apparecchio che scalda la stanza si usa il termine "calorifero". E' vero che nel tuo caso la fonte di alimentazione sono le biomasse, ma credo che ciò non cambi molto la questione.
