applicable taxes (tributes) Explanation: Some of these "taxes" are defined in Brazil as "contributions" rather than taxes, because this allows them to be changed (usually increased!) under different legal conditions to taxes. Thus the more generic term of "tributes" may be more appropriate. From the point of view of the citizen, "If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck...", it's a tax! |
