Asker: Portugal The President of the Portuguese Republic is the constitutional Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of Portugal. However, the operational command is delegated in the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces. So the answer is "Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces"... The one you said is the "status" given to the President... ;) But thank you!!! :)
