disagree  Tony M: I think that's misleading, it seems to me this would mean 'films by/belonging to customers' (rather than 'films made for a customer')

  -> It could be debatable depending on where you are. In the UK 'customer publishing' definitely means 'publications made for a customer' so I thought that there might be an argument for a corresponding film industry term.
