So what does that mess do? Well, the goal is to display all the categories you’ve assigned to a post. So the first thing we do is check to see if the post actually has any categories. The easiest way to do that is with the MTIfNonEmpty tag. This tag takes another tag as a parameter, in this case the MTEntryCategory tag, and checks to see if the value exists.
If in fact our post has one or more categories assigned to it, then we proceed to the MTEntryCategories ***container tag***. This tag sets up a loop that moves through all the categories assigned to an entry.
