Both 'limande' and 'nappe' are used in the text. However, the English translation for both appears to be 'ribbon cable' (or 'flat cable').

I understand however that the distinction is in fact that the 'limande' includes the connectors too. I can't use the same term for both since the distinction is important.

They both appear in the glossary as 'ribbon cable'.
