French term or phrase: non dénomination
See *** in penultimate paragraph of text below. I feel the term should be hyphenated, somehow, but it is not in my text, which is an interminable insurance document....which I have been translating for days, during which time friends have been sending in food parcels and water!

My idea of what it might mean here is something like this: that all of the items listed are indeed covers and the Insurers may not take advantage of a loophole in which a certain item is NOT named or mentioned.... is that the sense of 'dénomination' here, perhaps? Any enlightenment would be most welcome, as can't figure it out right now...

Explanation:
Yep, I'm a bit off in terms of an exact translation but as I understand it, they are worried that the insurer will refuse to pay out saying that that particular item is not covered by the policy.

Thanks for your confirmation here...I guess it means that usually, if it is not specifically mentioned or 'named' in the policy, then it isn't covered - and that such is not the case here. Unusual, I thought insurers made sure they got out of ever paying up!
