This term, "technologie de report" is mentioned just once in a document describing current research in the field of plastronics. The term is found in the following sentence, which briefly describes the purpose of one particular research project. The research is part of the general desire to incorporate electronic technology into plastic components:

"incorporation de technologies d’interconnexion et de report des composants sur des pièces plastiques"

The document is written by engineers and its translation is aimed at UK engineers. So they won't mind technical terms!

I am not sure of how to translate "technologie de report" in this instance since my term searches are not coming up with clear answers. Would it be referring to 'delay-line technology'? I'd be grateful for help from people who understand this field better than me.
