Reference: simulação é diferente de modelação/modelagem

Reference information:
i,e. faz-se um modelo de um rio, com parâmetros:correntes a entrar e a sair, bacia hidrográfica, etc. este modelo é uma representação matemática da realidade, como se fosse um jogo.

A simulação é realizada ao atribuir valores para os parâmetros do modelo, e o jogo decorre automaticamnte., ou seja faz-se uma simulação.

O resultado da simulação vai permitir comparar se os resultados da simulação são proximos da realidade. Se assim for temos um bom modelo, ou seja uma boa representação da realidade.

Ou seja, as simulações servem para validar a modelação feita, ou modelagem se for o termo correcto em PT_BR
