Explanation:
In my favourite, but normally way beyond my means, restaurante here in Avila, they have a "menú largo y estrecho" which means youg et to try a huge vairety of the dishes.

Perhaps this is what it is. Although of course it might just be a "menú del día" in terms we are not familiar with here in Spain....
