French term or phrase: soldée
This is in a list of haulier requirements/specifications compiled by a haulier client who manufactures goods for the medical and food industries, who needs absolute cleanliness in the vehicle. (For example there is a list of product types such as nuts that must not be consolidated in the same lorry as the client's goods). I can't think of any meaning except "invoiced" - any other suggestions?

English translation:in isolation
Explanation:
My reading, given the 'anti-groupage' concept explained by CA:

-->
Each consignment ... will be loaded in isolation in a single truck

meaning, basically, that as products cannot be mixed, any consignment of 15 T or more will be loaded as a single load and even if the truck is not actually full to capacity it will be considered full for the purposes of this contract.

But I don't think it's necessary to say "entire" order, as that would be clearly understood (order in one truck)

I hope this helps.

entirely

Explanation:
... will be loaded entirely in a single truck ..., meaning the order is soldé on the accounts.

"In isolation" as suggested might work but suggests there might be something else in the truck, from which this consignment is "isolated".

I said it was in the accounting sense of soldé but that is misleading since it has nothing to do with accounting. It simply means that all the items ordered are delivered (as in accounting it means all the money due has been paid).

(since it is unlikely – though possible - that the invoice is drawn up once total payment has been made, this must mean that the invoice is drawn up once the totality of the order has been delivered)

http://autourdoutiror.hautetfort.com/archive/2007/08/02/comm...
