The normal translation is كتب إلكترونية. The problem is that the client needs a concise term to fit in a small LCD screen button. So what is needed is a creative concise coinage that is meaningful to an and user.

Thank you all for coming up with creative suggestions. Even Mona, by not reading the whole question, made a serendipitous mistake. I cautioned the client against the consequences of a new coinage which will need them to change all their other references, so their graphic designer will try and squeeze كتب إلكترونية in the available space.
