Explanation: Tank calibration tables are essential documents for the calculation of custody transfers of bunkers between bunker barges/tankers and vessels. Based on the readings of tank measurements and tank calibration tables, bunker volumes transacted are calculated and finalised. The accuracy and authenticity of tank calibration tables are therefore essential for a bunker barge/tanker to operate. Reference: http://www.mpa.gov.sg/homepage/pcp/97-62.html |
