concrete mix with 200 kg/m3 cement content of CEMIII Explanation: I think you'll find that engineers like to use the terms "concrete mix" and "cement content" in these formulations. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr (2011-03-26 20:01:21 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Sorry, my mistake... it should read concrete mix with 200 kg/m3 of cement content of CLK CEM III/C |

I like to spell it out, Explanation: at least the first time, as "concrete with 200 kg of CEM III/C (ex. CLK) cement per cubic metre". After all, you're measuring cement content per cu.m of concrete, not per m3 de CEM III / C [even if the meaning is obvious to those in the field]. As for the cement type, Kiwipedia has noted - CLK French denomination for clinker-slag cement (Ciment de Laitier au clinKer) (former name of CEM III/C), and that - CEM III, blastfurnace cement, comes in three varieties: CEM III/A, CEM III/B,, and CEM III/B (these are European Standards categories, EN 197-1). Prob. no need in fact to specify "formerly CLK" or even mention "CLK" since I think - think - this was only the French denomination, so throwing it in would only complicate matters unnecessarily for readers outside France and/or those too young to have encountered 'CLK". the approved mixes were Q350 with 350 kg m3 of CLK this is now known as CEM III C (slag content 81) and a W C of about 0.50 (the ratio was generally not ... linkinghub.elsevier.com/retrieve/pii/S095894659800047X CEM III/C ex CLK.
