musical administration of music Explanation: a guess. I'd look at the course materials, if possible. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 6 mins (2011-03-16 15:11:02 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Sorry, that should be "musical administration" alone |

audio supervision Explanation: This basically refers to the activities carried out by people in a studio control room or at the mixing desks of a live performance. Nothing to do with "management" as such in this case. I think "audio supervision" would be more or less the nearest term in English, but "music/audio production", "sound control" as suggested by another poster or even "audio engineering" would also all cover it I think depending on the exact course content -- I would ideally choose the term depending on what that course content is. Reference: A Reference (in Italian...) Reference information: This subject deals with the acoustics/sound diffusion characteristics in recording and post-production studios. Sorry I am unable to provide the EN translation for this, but I'm sure some colleague will work that out for you. Here's an excerpt from the website of an Italian conservatory: 'LABORATORIO DI REGIA E DIFFUSIONE DEL SUONO Principali caratteristiche acustiche degli studi di registrazione e post-produzione. Creazione di ambienti di lavoro orientati alla registrazione, post-produzione e performance dal vivo. Classificazione e descrizione dei vari tipi di diffusione in relazione al loro utilizzo tipico e valutazione diretta delle caratteristiche d'ascolto.'
