Italian to English translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Construction / Civil Engineering / domestic / Outdoor canopy feature
Italian term or phrase: stagna
I am unsure what the meaning of stagna is in this phrase:

The context regards the roof of a wooden canopy outside a house fitted with very high quality fittings and expensive woods. I am not sure if "stagna" implies the sealant or something about tin(-plate).

neutral  R.C. (X): il senso è sicuramente questo ma qui non significa nulla... "stagna una" con tetto al maschile ???

agree  Daniela Zambrini: I think it could be short for "a tenuta stagna", on the other hand it could also be an adjective referring to tettoia (virgole a parte ;-) )
