have your income paid into Explanation: This is more structured than a simple deposit, which could be understood to be an ad hoc arrangement (e.g. by an employee - or a freelancer - deciding where to put this month's cheque). What the bank is looking for is an agreement whereby a company will pay the salary directly into the bank each month, or an independent worker will set up a business account. Note that "income" and "salary" are both used widely (try Googling the terms). It really depends on the context, but then that applies to the source text, too.
