Credo che con 'head strips' si intendano le bande/fasce che tengono insieme il pannello grafico, il cartellone, o quant'altro. Avendo borchie/viti progioniere magnetiche tengono fermo il pannello. Ora si tratta di trovare una bella espressione (corretta!) per rendereil termine in italiano...

Magari si tratta proprio di quello che stai traducendo tu, comunque l'immagine a destra mi sembra chiarire di cosa si tratta, è la striscia a cui si attacca il pannello pubblicitario, diciamo.

Asker: stavo anche pensando a zanca...o morsetto, ma non mi sembrano proprio corretti, che ne pensi?

Asker: ho trovato questa descrizione...e barra mi sembra la soluzione perfetta... per "stud" in questo sito ci sono tre figure all'inizio e la terza dovrebbe essere lo "stud" , ma non credo che vite sia il temine correto.. uff questi espositori :) http://www.forcing.it/portables/displays/pop-star.htm
